Alison offers psychoeducational assessments in Terrace for school-aged children, youth and adults.

Psychoeducational assessments are a comprehensive evaluation of a person’s cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioural functioning. Results from psychoeducational assessments identify the factors that are impacting a person’s learning, such as cognitive challenges, learning disorders, or mental health concerns (e.g., ADHD or anxiety). Information from a psychoeducational assessment can be used to guide academic accommodations, make recommendations to improve learning outcomes, help parents understand how to best support their children, and help individuals recognize their personal strengths.

As Alison has completed her doctorate in clinical psychology and is in the final stages of becoming a Registered Psychologist, her assessments are supervised by Dr. Chiara Perico and are scheduled through Seasons Family Centre. Note: while the assessments are booked through Seasons Family Centre, they are completed in-person in Terrace at Woodstove Wellness.
